Narration Box: Simple Ways You Can Help Bugs & the Environment
1st Panel- 3 monarch butterflies flying towards a large milkweed plant, there is a wooden fence in the background.
Narrator: Add plants to your yard which are native to the area to attract bugs that only eat certain species.
Butterfly: We're finally getting a Café Milkweed back in town!
2nd Panel- The side of a house at night. Its outside light is on and there is light shining from the window as well. 2 tiny bugs are flying around, one very close to the outside light.
Narrator: Cut down on light pollution by turning off outdoor lights when you don't need them, or swap out white light bulbs for yellow light which is much less distracting.
Bug farthest from the light: Don't go into the light, Carl!
3rd Panel- Large wooden boxes piled on top of one another, inside are different sections containing twigs, hey, bricks, pinecones, and moss.
Narrator: Put an insect hotel in your yard so bugs will have a safe place to rest and raise their young.
Voice from inside the insect hotel: Do you offer room service?
Final Panel- Bug Boy and Seymour sitting on the couch, watching TV and eating popcorn.
Narrator: Spread the word that most bugs are actually beneficial to the planet & help break the stigma that all bugs are bad.
Seymour: This movie made everyone afraid of sharks for decades.
