This week's strip has a "5th Panel" you can only find on Patreon.
Bug Boy®-Adventures of a SuperB Hero on His Day Off
100 IAD ©2024 Amy D
First Panel- Bug Boy in the foreground of a desert scene, digging in a hole with a trowel. His back is to the camera and he’s wearing a fedora. Way in the background you can see Seymour standing in front of 2 pyramids. One of his eyebrows is raised.
Seymour: Found anything yet, Wyoming Bug?
Second Panel- Bug Boy & Seymour walking in front of a giant pyramid. Bug Boy is using his trowel to point Seymour towards the entrance.
Bug Boy: Of course. Did you know the ancient Egyptians believed a scarab beetle was responsible for rolling the sun across the sky every day? Much like dung beetles roll their dung balls along the ground.
Seymour: Really?
Third Panel- Bug Bug & Seymour are now inside the pyramid standing in front of a wall fresco. Bug Boy is holding up a lit torch so they can see it. On the fresco are some hieroglyphics and what appears to be a larger image of a pharaoh that has a beetle for a head.
Bug Boy: Yeah, the god named Khepri. That's why he had the face of a scarab.
Final Panel- A close-up image of Seymour looking up at the fresco in complete shock.
Seymour: Great Uncle Larry?!
