First Panel- Bug Boy & Seymour in the living room of the Bug Bungalow. Seymour is sitting on the sofa, watching TV and eating a slice of cake. The rest of the cake is also on the sofa, along with a piece cut for Bug Boy, which he hasn’t touched yet because he is standing in front of the sofa with an angry look on his face and yelling towards the top right corner of the panel.
Seymour: Wait, are we digitally colored again?
Bug Boy: We’ve been through this before. We’re simple, rustic bugs. We need texture!
Second Panel- A closer shot of Seymour still sitting on the sofa, eating cake, and Bug Boy, still angry and standing in front of the sofa, but now looking at his hands.While the cake, sofa and wall are still in color, Bug Boy & Seymour have no color at all and are just line drawings.
The Cartoonist from off-screen: Hey, I didn't have much time this week to draw you. It was either this, or no color at all.
Final Panel- Seymour has now gotten off the sofa and is holding Bug Boy back, hoping he will calm down. Bug Boy, now looking depressed, is looking at Seymour, while Seymour is looking up at the Cartoonist.
Seymour: That’s okay. We look marvelous.
